NT Futsal Qualifies for The Intercontinental Futsal Cup Semifinals with Full scores

The Saudi Arabia national futsal team qualified for the semifinals of the 2025 Futsal Intercontinental Cup after finishing the group stage with a full score, following a 4-2 victory over Belarus in the match held today, Thursday, at the Nonthaburi Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, in the third round of Group B.

The goals for the Saudi Futsal Team were scored by:Fahad Al-Rudaini, Abdullah Al-Aqili, Moaz Al-Asiri, and Ihab Ahmed.

During the match, Spanish coach Andreu Plaza made group substitutions from time to time, in addition to adopting the power play technique at various times, to increase the pace of play and intensify offensive pressure.

With this result, the Saudi Futsal Team finished the group stage at the top of its group with 9 points from three wins over Australia, Zambia, and Belarus.

The national team is scheduled to face Chinese Taipei in the semi-finals next Saturday.

This international participation is part of the national team's preparations for the 2026 AFC Futsal Championship qualifiers, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Dammam from September 20 to 24, 2025.

The draw for the qualifiers, held on June 6, placed the national team in Group D alongside Iraq, Pakistan, and Chinese Taipei.
