NT U-23 loses second friendly match against Russia

The Saudi Arabia U-23 national team lost 3-1 to host Russia on Monday evening, concluding their preparatory camp in Russia as part of the preparations for the 2026 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, which the Saudis are hosting in Riyadh and Jeddah.
The national team's goal came from Meshari Al-Nimr in the 81st minute, while Russia's goals came in the 14th, 44th, and 76th minutes.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio entered the match with a lineup consisting of: Ahmed Abu Rasin in goal; Abdulaziz Al-Faraj, Marzouq Al-Tambukti, Mohammed Al-Dosari, Suleiman Hazazi, Badr Al-Omair, Abbas Al-Hassan, Majed Duran, Humam Al-Hamami, Abdulkarim Darsi, and Abdulaziz Al-Othman.
It's worth noting that the Saudi U-23 Green Falcons won their first friendly match against hosts Russia 2-1, as part of their preparatory camp in the Russian capital, Moscow.
