
NT U-17 wins the AGCFF Gulf Cup by beating UAE 2-0

The Saudi Arabia U-17 national team won the AGCFF Gulf Cup Gulf Cup, which was held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from September 20 to October 3, 2025.
The Green Falcons clinched the title after defeating the UAE 2-0 in the final match at Grand Hamad Stadium.
Abdulaziz Al-Fawaz scored the first goal in the 18th minute and Abdulrahman Sufiani added the second in the 45th minute.
The national team qualified for the final match after securing six points in the group stage, defeating Bahrain 4-0 in the opening match, winning the second match by the same score against Kuwait, and losing to Iraq 2-1 in the final group stage match.
In the semi-final, the Saudi team defeated Qatar 2-1, turning the result around with two goals in the last 10 minutes, scored by Mohammed Al-Khalaf and Abdulrahman Sufiani.
It's worth noting that the U-17 national team's participation in the AGCFF Gulf Cup is part of the Green Falcons' preparations for the U-17 World Cup, which will be held in Qatar in early November.
The Green Falcons will complete their preparations for the World Cup with an 11-day training camp from October 7 to 17 in Dammam.
