
NT U-23 Opens Gulf Cup with Victory over Bahrain

The Saudi Arabia U-23 national team defeated Bahrain 5-0 in their opening match of the AGCFF U-23 Gulf Cup, held this evening, Friday.
The Green Falcons opened the scoring through Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa in the 51st minute, followed by Majed Abdullah's goal in the 56th minute, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa then added his second and the Green Falcons' third goal in the 81st minute.
Thamer Al-Khaibri scored the fourth goal in the 90+3 minute, and Abdullah Maatouq completed the scoring in the 90+5 minute.
Italian coach Luigi Di Biagio fielded the following starting lineup: Hamed Yousef in goal, Mohammed Abdulrahman, Mohammed Al-Dossari, Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, Sulaiman Hazazi, Faisal Al-Subiani, Abdulmalik Al-Ayiri, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa, Majed Abdullah, and Abdullah Radif.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Arabia U-23 national team is in Group A of the 2025 AGCFF U-23 Gulf Cup, alongside Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
