The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced today that Jeddah has been selected to host the final stages of the 2025-2026 AFC Champions League Elite.
The tournament will be held in a centralized format from April 16 to 25 at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City Stadium.
The final stage of the tournament will feature the eight clubs that reached the knockout rounds competing in a single-elimination format. The quarter-final matches will be held from April 16 to 18, followed by the semi-finals on April 20 and 21, with the final taking place on April 25, 2026.
The selection of Jeddah to host the tournament finals for the second consecutive season, after the city hosted the final of the previous edition, reaffirms the Asian Football Confederation's confidence in the Kingdom's capabilities to host major continental sporting events. It also highlights the Kingdom's excellent sports facilities and the strong cooperation between the Asian and Saudi Arabian Football Federations in serving Asian football.
It is worth noting that King Abdullah Sports City and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City are key pillars in the bid to host the 2027 Asian Cup, as the two cities will share hosting the knockout stage matches.
