
NT U-23 squad for the AFC U-23 Asian Cup announced

The Italian coach of the Saudi Arabia U-23 national team, Luigi Di Biagio, announced the squad for the 2026 AFC U-23 Cup, which will be hosted by Riyadh and Jeddah next January.
The squad consists of 23 players, whose names are as follows: Hamed Yousef, Turki Baljosh, Muhannad Al-Yahya, Mohammed Abdulrahman, Awad Dahal, Sulaiman Hazazi, Mohammed Al-Dossari, Khaled Al-Asiri, Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, Mohammed Barnawi, Salem Al-Najdi, Yassin Al-Zubaidi, Abdulmalik Al-Jaber, Musab Al-Juwair, Fares Al-Ghamdi, Faisal Al-Subiani, Rakan Al-Ghamdi, Hammam Al-Hamami, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa, Abdulrahman Sufyani, Majed Abdullah, Thamer Al-Khaibri, and Abdullah Radif.
The Saudi U-23 team will begin training tomorrow evening, Thursday, in preparation for their opening matches in Jeddah.
The National Teams Department expressed its gratitude to the clubs for their cooperation and responsiveness in allowing their players participating in the tournament to join the U-23 national team, as this tournament, hosted by the Kingdom for the first time since its inception, is being held outside of official FIFA international match days.
The Department commended the clubs' ongoing cooperation with the national teams in all continental and international competitions, reflecting the spirit of collaboration and continuous support provided by the clubs to Saudi national teams in achieving sporting success.
It is worth noting that the Saudi team is in Group A, alongside Vietnam, Jordan, and Kyrgyzstan.
