The assistant coaching staff of the Saudi national team held a meeting with players from Al-Shabab and Al-Riyadh clubs who are candidates for joining the national team, as part of the early preparation program for the Green Falcons' participation in the 2026 World Cup.

The meetings emphasized the importance of the current phase and the need for complete focus on technical and physical aspects, in addition to adhering to approved health and nutrition programs. They also reviewed each player's physical indicators and statistics to enhance their readiness before the upcoming competitions.

The meetings also included discussions on coordination mechanisms for the coming period and strengthening direct communication between the coaching staff and the players, within the framework of the approved work methodology, which aims to unify efforts and achieve the highest levels of integration between the national team and the clubs.

This comes as an extension of a series of meetings held by the assistant coaching staff with nominated players, which will continue in the coming period with players from Al-Fateh, Al-Akhdoud, and Damac clubs, as part of a comprehensive work plan aimed at preparing the players mentally and physically for the World Cup.
