The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF), organizers of the ASEAN Women's Futsal Championship, appointed an all-Saudi female refereeing team to officiate today's match between Thailand and Indonesia in the tournament, reaffirming its confidence in the national refereeing capabilities at the continental level.

International referee Reem Al-Bishi officiated the match as the first referee, while international referee Reem Al-Shammari served as the second referee.

This appointment reflects the growing presence of qualified Saudi women in continental and international competitions, as part of ongoing efforts to develop the women's refereeing system and empower national talent to represent the Kingdom in international tournaments.
