The NT departs for Serbia, and Renard calls up 27 players

Head coach Hervé Renard has called up Al-Ola goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais to join the team's training camp in Jeddah before their departure for Serbia.

This camp is part of the third phase of the preparation program for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, which runs until March 31.

Renard also called up Nawaf Boushal, Khalifa Al-Dossari, Mohammed Mahzari, Mohammed Al-Majhad, and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa from the national team's B camp to join the Saudi squad, while Murad Al-Hawsawi and Turki Al-Ammar were transferred to the B camp.

Meanwhile, Mutaib Al-Harbi was excluded from the squad traveling to Serbia based on a medical report from the national team's medical staff.

The report, which came after necessary examinations of his injury, indicated that he is not yet fit to play and requires a treatment and rehabilitation program.

In the same context, the national team's head coach decided to exclude players Ali Lajami and Hassan Kadash from the squad traveling to Serbia, based on a technical decision.

The national team delegation departs this evening, Saturday, for the Serbian capital, Belgrade, to continue their training camp, which includes a friendly match against the Serbian national team next Tuesday.

The squad consists of 27 players, as follows: Nawaf Al-Aqidi, Mohammed Al-Yami, Ahmed Al-Kassar, Mohammed Al-Owais, Nawaf Boushal, Mutaib Al-Mufarrij, Khalifa Al-Dossari, Mohammed Mahzari, Abdul-Ilah Al-Amri, Rayan Hamed, Saud Abdulhamid, Ali Majrashi, Ayman Yahya, Salman Al-Faraj, Abdullah Al-Khaibari, Mohammed Kanno, Nayef Masoud, Mohammed Al-Majhad, Khaled Al-Ghannam, Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa, Ziyad Al-Juhani, Musab Al-Juwair, Sultan Mandash, Abdullah Al-Hamdan, Marwan Al-Sahafi, Saleh Al-Shehri, and Firas Al-Buraikan.
