
NT U-17 beats Uzbekistan in Friendly Match Ahead of AFC Asian U-17 Cup

The Saudi Arabia U-17 national team defeated Uzbekistan 2-0 in a friendly match held Saturday evening as part of their training camp in Taif.
The camp is part of their preparations for the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The goals for the Saudi team were scored by Ali Al-Makki in the 56th minute and Yahya Saeed in the 76th minute.
National coach Ahmed Al-Hanfoush fielded the following starting lineup: Abdullah Al-Mas (goalkeeper), Jawad Al-Hashem, Ali Al-Yahya, Ammar Maimani, Marwan Al-Yami, Abdullah Al-Batli, Khaled Sharahili, Hamad Al-Shammari, Abdullah Al-Dossari, Ali Al-Makki, and Fares Boushagra.
On the other hand, the Saudi U-17 national team departs this evening for Jeddah to continue their training camp in preparation for the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, scheduled to begin on May 5th.
It is worth noting that the Saudi U-17 national team is in Group A of the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, alongside Thailand, Tajikistan, and Myanmar.
