The Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF) and the Saudi Arabian Football Federation announced that Jeddah will host the draw ceremony for the 27th Gulf Cup, scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at the Culture Square – Arts Center of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Historic Jeddah.
The event is expected to draw a large audience and generate significant anticipation from fans and sports media across the region.
The tournament will be held in Jeddah from September 23 to October 6, 2026, with the participation of all Gulf national teams: the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, and Yemen. This edition promises to be highly competitive as the teams strive to win the title.
The draw ceremony is expected to reveal the distribution of the teams into two groups and determine the matchups for the group stage.
The AGCFF, in cooperation with the SAFF and the local organizing committee, is committed to delivering a distinguished and exceptional edition of the tournament, that will reflect the rapid development of football in the Gulf countries and reinforce their strong presence on the international football map, especially given the tournament's widespread popularity.
Gulf football fans eagerly anticipate this event, as it is not merely a draw for a sporting tournament, but also an occasion to renew the bonds of Gulf unity and reflect the values of brotherhood and closeness among the peoples of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, within a framework that combines sporting competition with social engagement.
