The Saudi Arabia U-17 national team continued its training today, Thursday, in preparation for the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the FIFA U-17 World Cup.
The players held their evening training session under the supervision of national coach Ahmed Al-Hanfoush and his assistant coaching staff.
The session included fitness drills, followed by ball possession exercises, and then tactical drills.
Meanwhile, national coach Ahmed Al-Hanfoush announced the squad for the U-17 national team participating in the AFC U-17 Asian Cup.
The squad list includes 23 players, whose names are as follows: Abdullah Almas, Musaed Alshammari, Musa Al Eid, Jawad Alhashem, Ali Alyahya, Nawaf Alhuwairi, Ahmed Ishaq, Abdulrahman Almami, Marwan Alyami, Ammar Maimani, Zaid Albouri, Khaled Sharahili, Hassan Alakroush, Abdullah Albatli, Tamim Siraj, Hamad Alshammari, Ali Awad, Ali Almaki, Yahya Saeed, Abdullah Aldosari, Ali Alshamrani, Faisal Alaa, and Fares Boushagra.
It is worth noting that the national under-17 team is in Group A of the 2026 AFC U-17 Asian Cup, alongside Tajikistan, Thailand, and Myanmar.
