The Saudi national team continued its training today, Thursday, in Austin, Texas, in preparation for facing Uruguay next Monday (Tuesday, Saudi time), in its opening match of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The players held their training session at Q2 Stadium in Austin, under the supervision of head coach Giorgos Donis.
The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by passing drills, then ball possession exercises, before the players worked on tactical aspects. This was followed by set-piece practice, and the session concluded with a tactical scrimmage.
The Saudi team will continue its training tomorrow evening, Friday, with a session at Q2 Stadium in Austin, which will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
