The Saudi national team continued its training today, Friday, in Austin, in preparation for facing Uruguay next Monday (Tuesday, Saudi time), in its opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™.
The players held their training session at Q2 Stadium in Austin under the supervision of head coach Giorgos Donis.
The session began with warm-up exercises, followed by ball possession drills, then tactical exercises, then the coach conducted a practice match on a third of the pitch, concluding with set-piece practice.
The Saudi team will continue its training tomorrow, Saturday, at 4:00 PM with a closed session at Q2 Stadium in Austin, before departing in the evening for Miami, Florida, in preparation for their first World Cup match.
