The Saudi national team continued its training today, Wednesday, in Austin, Texas, in preparation for its match against Cape Verde this Friday (US time, Saturday Saudi time), as part of the third round of the group stage of the FIFA World Cup 2026.
The Saudi players held their training session at Q2 Stadium in Austin, under the supervision of head coach Giorgos Donis, as the session included warm-up exercises, ball possession drills, and a varied tactical session that included a practice match, before the session concluded with set-piece practice.
Meanwhile, Hassan Al-Tambakti participated in the training session, while Abdulrahman Al-Sanbi continued his rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff.
The Saudi national team will conclude its preparations for the match against Cape Verde on Thursday evening with a training session at the Houston Dynamo Stadium in Houston, as the first quarter of an hour of the session will be open to the media.
