
Women's NT Training Camp Kicks off in Abha

The Saudi Women's National Team training camp begins today in Abha and will continue until July 6, 2026. This camp is part of the team's preparatory program, overseen by the national team's coaching staff, and aims to enhance the players' technical and physical readiness and raise their performance level in preparation for upcoming competitions.
Twenty-two players have been called up to join the camp, as their names are: Al-Jouri Al-Dossari, Noura Al-Maliki, Maryam Al-Yousef, Al-Jalila Madabesh, Tala Hafez, Lara Bakheet, Saba Al-Olayan, Dima Ibrahim, Al-Jawhara Abdullah, Rehana Jalal, Hajar Al-Jabri, Linda Bin Nasser, Alaa Bader, Sama Al-Harbi, Rana Al-Khamash, Areef Al-Kareem, Dilar Mukhtar, Alina Buqas, Roulin Abdullah, Hatoon Al-Ghaib, Hidayah Abdulaziz, and Rateel Al-Muraba'i.
The training camp will include two friendly matches against the Bahraini women's national team, as the first match will be held on July 2nd, and the second on July 5th at Prince Sultan Sports City Stadium in Abha.
These matches aim to give the players the opportunity to gain more international experience and implement the technical aspects that the coaching staff has been working on during the preparation period.
For her part, Alia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rashid, Director of Women's Football at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, confirmed that the camp is part of the efforts to develop women's national teams and enhance player development. She pointed out the importance of friendly matches in raising technical readiness and providing opportunities for international competition, which contributes to supporting the players' development and preparing them for upcoming tournaments.
