NT U-17 Girls' Launches Training Camp in Jordan in Preparation for the WAFF Championship

The Saudi Arabian U-17 Women's National Team launched its training camp today in Amman, Jordan, in preparation for the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) U-17 Girls' Championship, which will be hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from July 17 to 25, 2026, with the participation of seven national teams.
This camp is part of the technical program prepared by the team's coaching staff, aimed at improving the players' technical and physical readiness and enhancing team cohesion before the start of the tournament.
The coaching staff called up 24 players, whose names are: Dana Al-Binali, Jude Ibrahim, Maryam Al-Tayyar, Rital Hakami, Arwa Al-Rashid, Diala Sarouji, Suwar Amr, Houra Jalal, Reem Al-Mubarak, Jude Al-Amoudi, Heba Ohashi, Ghala Saleh, Ghadi Al-Otaibi, Rimas Ahmed, Joan Al-Nassar, Rimas Al-Aradi, Hala Al-Shadoukhi, Sadeem Al-Sahimi, Rima Abdulaziz, Kenzi Alaa, Dima Ibrahim, Yara Al-Saleh, Zainab Reda, and Dana Al-Dahyan.
The Saudi U-17 Girls' national team will begin their tournament campaign against Syria on July 17 at 8:00 PM, followed by a match against Lebanon on July 19 at 8:00 PM, before concluding the group stage against the UAE on July 21 at 8:00 PM. These matches are part of Group A, which also includes the UAE, Syria, and Lebanon, and will be held at Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa.
The Director of Women's Football at the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Alia Al-Rashid, affirmed that participation in the WAFF Championship represents a significant milestone in the development of the youth national teams.
"This tournament offers a valuable opportunity for the players to gain experience and competitive exposure at the regional level. It also reflects the SAFF's ongoing efforts to build a strong foundation of young talent and prepare a generation capable of representing the nation and competing in future continental and international competitions. The Saudi Arabian U-17 Girls' National Team aspires to deliver outstanding performances during the tournament and continue the developmental journey of women's football in the Kingdom, in line with the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's strategy to prepare national teams to compete at all levels.
