NT U-17 Women's Arrives in Indonesia for the 2026 Srikandi Merdeka Cup

The Saudi U-17 Women's National Team arrived in Indonesia today to participate in the inaugural Srikandi Merdeka Cup 2026, a friendly tournament.
This tournament is part of the team's preparation program for the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers, and the training camp will continue until August 24.
The 24 players called up for the camp are: Dana Fahad, Talia Kutbi, Mariam Al-Tayyar, Joan Al-Nassar, Rital Hakami, Arwa Al-Rashid, Joud Al-Amoudi, Houra Jalal, Rital Al-Mutairi, Rimas Ahmed, Lana Al-Hadithi, Hour Al-Farid, Ghadi Al-Otaibi, Dima Ibrahim, Hidayah Abdulaziz, Dima Hijazi, Sadeem Al-Suhaimi, Ghala Saleh, Sarah Al-Madani, Saadia Mohammed, Zainab Redha, Yara Al-Saleh, Rimas Al-Aradi, and Kinzi Alaa.
The Saudi Arabian U-17 women's national team is participating in the tournament in Group A, facing Indonesia on August 14, then Hong Kong on August 16, before concluding their group stage matches against Malaysia on August 18.
The team's participation in this inaugural edition of the friendly tournament aims to provide the players with the opportunity to gain diverse international experience and develop their technical and tactical skills, ultimately raising their readiness level before the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers in October.
Aalia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rashid, Director of Women's Football at the SAFF, confirmed that the U-17 women's national team's participation in the Srikandi Merdeka Cup is part of their preparation program for upcoming competitions. She emphasized the importance of playing international matches in developing the players and enhancing their experience, which will contribute to reaching peak readiness before the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers.
