The national beach soccer team continued its training sessions on Tuesday at its domestic camp in Riyadh—running until October 5th, as part of the second phase of preparations for the 2026 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup.
The players conducted their training session at the Mahd Academy beach soccer pitch under the supervision of Brazilian head coach Guga Zlocovic, as the session focused on direct shooting drills and the execution of specific technical plays involving aerial balls.
The team will resume training tomorrow, Wednesday, as part of the Riyadh camp.
It is worth noting that the draw for the 2026 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup placed the Saudi team in Group C alongside Oman, the UAE, and Uzbekistan.
