The Saudi national beach soccer team began training today, Monday, as part of its camp in Bahrain, as the camp runs until October 12 and is part of the preparation program for the 2026 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, which serves as a qualifier for the 2027 World Cup.
The players conducted their training session at the Bahrain Football Association’s beach soccer pitch under the supervision of Brazilian head coach Guga Zlocovic, as the session included fitness and physical conditioning exercises, as well as technical and tactical drills involving the ball, and concluded with a full-pitch practice match.
Yesterday, Sunday, the team wrapped up a 14-day domestic camp in Riyadh.
The camp featured various training sessions at the Mahd Academy beach soccer pitch—including fitness work—as part of the preparations for the upcoming continental tournament.
The squad consists of 14 players whose names are: Mohammed Al-Ajmi, Hossam Ka'man, Hassan Al-Eid, Mubarak Al-Dossari, Ahmed Al-Hamami, Salman Al-Rashidi, Walid Al-Youbi, Rabie Sufyani, Khaled Wohaib, Naif Hadi, Omar Qaramish, Ramzi Dakman, Qasim Dibaji, and Majid Shamhani.
The draw for the 2026 AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup placed the Saudi team in Group C alongside Oman, the UAE, and Uzbekistan.
