National Futsal Team intensifies preparations for AFC Cup

The National Futsal Team continued its training at its current camp in Dammam, which will continue until September 30, in preparation for AFC Cup, to be held in Kuwait from 2 to 13 December, which qualifies for the World Cup "Lithuania 2021".

The National Team conducted its training under the supervision of the Spanish coach Luis Fonseca, who divided the training session into two morning and evening shifts.

The morning shift witnessed an intensification and diversification of fitness and physical exercises, while the players applied a number of technical sentences during the evening shift, to conclude the training session by holding a mini match throughout the hall with the participation of All players.

The national team director, Nasser Al-Qahtani, said that after the end of the current camp, the team will complete its preparatory stages before heading to Kuwait, during which it will play a number of friendly matches.

Al-Qahtani stressed that the technical staff is seeking, through these camps, to equip the team and to reach the highest readiness before arriving in Kuwait to participate in the Asian Cup, in order to achieve the desired goal which is qualifying for the World Cup.
