The under-23 national draws with Ivory Coast in preparation for Tokyo

The under-23 national team drew 0-0 with its guest Ivory Coast national team, on Tuesday evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, at the end of the preparatory camp in Dammam, which represents the first phase of the preparatory program for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, to be held in July.

Coach Saad Al-Shehri started the match with a list made up of: Mohamed Al-Rabiei as a goalkeeper, Saud Abdul Hamid, Abdul Basit Hindi, Hassan Tambakti, Abdullah Hassoun, Ali Al-Hassan, Sami Al-Naji, Mukhtar Ali, Abdul Rahman Gharib, Ayman Yahya and Abdullah Al-Hamdan.

It is reported that the U-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
