His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, visited this evening, Wednesday, the Saudi national team’s first preparatory camp in Riyadh, which comes in preparation for the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup.
His Highness met the players before the start of the training session, in the presence of Yasser Al Misehal, President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, as he stressed the importance of showing all abilities in the next stage to achieve the desired goal, asking the continuity in the giving and spirit in a high way for that.
During his conversation with the players, His Highness expressed his confidence in them, wishing them success during the preparations for the qualifiers, and in the next stages.
Yasser Al Misehal, the President of the SAFF, thanked His Highness, the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, for the great support and attention that the national teams receive, and for overcoming all obstacles in order to achieve the aspirations of Saudi football with more achievements in the next stage.
On the field level, the national team players conducted a training session this evening at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, under the supervision of the coach, Herve Renard, which began with warm-up exercises, followed by a tactical exercise, to conclude the training session with a maneuver on the entire area of the stadium.
The national team will continue its training tomorrow, Thursday, at 7:00 pm, at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, in a closed training session in front of the media.
