The under-23 national team concludes Jeddah camp with a draw with South Africa

The under-23 national team drew 1-1 with its guest South Africa, on Tuesday, at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, at the end of the preparatory camp in Jeddah, which came as part of the second phase of the preparation program for Olympic Games In Tokyo, scheduled for July.
The visiting team opened the score in the 56th minute, while midfielder Abdel Rahman Gharib scored the equalizer through a penalty kick in the 77th minute.
Coach Saad Al-Shehri entered the match with a list made up of: Amin Al-Bukhari, Saud Abdul-Hamid, Abdullah Al-Omari, Abdul Basit Hindi, Hamad Al-Yami, Ali Al-Hassan, Nasser Al-Omran, Abdul Rahman Gharib, Sami Al-Naji, Hussein Al-Issa and Saad Al-Selouli.
It is reported that the under-23 national team qualified for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020) after winning one of the qualifying seats in the U-23 AFC Cup in Thailand last January, during which it finished second.
