The coach of the first national team, "Herve Renard", spoke at the press conference held this evening to talk about Al-Akhdar's preparations to face Yemen in the joint Asian qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup. Herve Renard described the confrontation with the Yemeni national team as important and said: "A very important match, we have only three matches left that separate us towards achieving the desired goal, so we must redouble the work in order to preserve the gains we have gained in the past rounds."


On the lack of stability in the offensive options, he said: “One of the most positive things is the diversity of offensive options, which makes us in a better condition before and during the match. At the beginning of the qualifiers, Abdullah Al-Hamdan participated effectively and scored many goals, as well as Firas Al-Braikan participated in the match against the Uzbekistan national team and was present in a distinctive way and finally participated Saleh Al-Shehri in the last match of the qualifiers and managed to score two goals, as they were all positively present during their last participation.”


Regarding the readiness of the duo, Abdelilah Al-Omari and Muhammad Al-Buraik, he said: “Al-Omari and Al-Burik have a minor injury, so we have put an appropriate lineup in anticipation of injuries, and we hope that everyone will be in good shape in the three matches.”
