
Saudi Olympics team held to China

The Saudi national under-23 football team, held to a goalless draw to China, in Sunday evening, at the China International Friendly tournament, China.
The Saudi team participation in the China International Friendly Tournament comes within the second phase of preparations for 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, Thailand, which will determine the qualified teams to the 2020 Summer Olympics men's football tournament, in Tokyo 2020.
For his part, Coach Saad Al-Shehri, entered the game with the following starting XI: Mohamed Al-Rabiea (Goalkeeper). Abdalla Hasson, Abdel Basit Hendy, Mohamed Al-Shanketi, Ali Al-Hassan, Nasser Al-Elwan, Sami Al-Nagey, Abdel Rahman Gharib, Ayman Al-Khalif and Saad Saloli.
The Saudi team will continue training, in Monday evening, in the preparations for Indonesia game, next Tuesday, at the end of the friendly tournament.
It must be noted that the draw of 2020 AFC U-23 Championship, put KSA in group B, alongside Japan, Syria and Qatar.
