NT U-20 begins preparing to m Egypt match in the Arab Cup semi-finals

The NT U-20 resumed its training today, Thursday, after defeating Senegal yesterday, Wednesday, on penalties, in the quarter-finals of the Arab Cup for under-20 teams.

Today, the Al-Akhdar players performed their training on the reserve stadium at the Cairo International Stadium, under the supervision of coach Saleh Al-Mohammadi and the assistant technical staff, during which the players were divided into two groups. The first group, which participated mainly in yesterday's match, performed a retrospective exercise, while the other group conducted endurance training. With the ball, it was followed by mini-games.

Tomorrow, Friday, the national team concludes its preparations to face Egypt, the day after tomorrow, Saturday, in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup.

For his part, the assistant coach of the national team, Mohamed Massad, expressed during the press conference held today on the sidelines of the Arab Cup semi-final matches, his happiness over the victory over the defending champion Senegal and qualifying.

Massad praised the great level presented by the players, explaining that they were up to the responsibility and showed a high technical level and great tactical discipline despite the strength of the opponent.

Muhammad Massad expressed the appearance of the match that will bring together the teams of Saudi Arabia and Egypt in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup, in a manner befitting the name of the two brotherly teams. He thanked the Arab and Egyptian Federations for the organization in which the tournament appeared.

For his part, our national team goalkeeper Bilal Al-Dawa confirmed that implementing the coach’s instructions and focusing on the field were the keys to winning against Senegal, stressing the difficulty of the match against Egypt, which requires a great mental presence, and expressing his hope to win and qualify for the final match.
