NT U-20 begins preparations for the Arab final match against Algeria

The NT U-20 resumed training today, Sunday, after beating Egypt 3-2 yesterday, Saturday, in the semi-finals of the Arab Cup for under-20 teams.

Today, the Al-Akhdar players performed their training on the reserve stadium at the Cairo International Stadium, under the supervision of coach Saleh Al-Mohammadi and the assistant technical staff, during which the players were divided into two groups. The first group, which participated mainly in yesterday's match, performed a retrospective exercise, while the other group conducted endurance training. With the ball, it was followed by mini-games.

Tomorrow, Monday, the national team concludes its preparations to face Algeria, the day after tomorrow, Tuesday, in the Arab Youth Cup final.

For his part, the assistant coach of the national team, Majed Al-Tufail, expressed during the press conference held today on the sidelines of the Arab Cup final, his happiness over the victory over Egypt, the host of the tournament, and reaching the final match.

Al-Tufail pointed out the difficulty of the expected confrontation with the Algerian national team, praising the high level presented by the players during the match, and expressing his wishes that Al-Akhdar will be crowned with the title.

Majed Al-Tufail added that the Algerian national team has players at a high level, whether in the skill or fitness side, pointing out that both teams advanced during the tournament at levels that make it worthy of reaching the final.

For his part, the player of the national team, Muhammad Abdul Rahman, explained that he and his colleagues passed difficult stages during the course of the tournament by defeating the defending champion and eliminating the host of the tournament in the next round, expressing his wishes to crown the tournament title.
