MBS referees conclude Serbia camp

Today, Sunday, the referees of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup League concluded their camp, which was held in Serbia, Novi Sad, from July 28 to August 8, with the participation of 51 referees, in preparation for the new sports season 2021-2022.
The camp was held under the supervision of the head of the Referees Committe, the Swiss Manuel Navarro, the head of the Referee department, the Uzbek Farhad Abdullah, and the fitness trainer, Mr. Alejo.
The closing day witnessed a meeting held by the Secretary-General of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Ibrahim Al Kassim, with the referees via video call.
During the meeting, Al Kassim expressed his happiness with the reports he received about the progress of the camp and the results of the law tests and physical fitness.
Al Kassim affirmed the SAFF's continued confidence in the Saudi referees, and wished them success with the start of the new season.
During the meeting, the head of the committee and the director of the department presented the policy of the referees committee during the new season.
It is noteworthy that the training camp included a fitness program, training on the video assistant referee (VAR), working on developing the theoretical and practical aspects of the technique, and football law tests, in addition to explaining the law amendments.
During the camp, the referees led a number of matches within the friendly tournament held in Novi Sad, as part of the program prepared for referees.
