
Saudi Arabia books place in AFC Futsal Championship

The Saudi Arabian futsal national team, qualified for the 2020 AFC Futsal Championship, which will be held in Turkmenistan, after holding a 4-4 draw with Oman, in the last round of the west zone qualifiers, Bahrain.
The Saudi team qualified to the Asian Futsal Championship for the second time after 2016 edition, which took place in Uzbekistan.
For his part, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation President, Yasser Al Misehal, called the players of the Saudi team after the match to congratulate them.
Al Misehal hailed the support and concern of His Excellency, Prince Abdel Aziz Bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of General Sport Authority, as this concern was effective in the Saudi team qualification to the Asian Championship and recording a new achievement for the Saudi football.
"The players of the Saudi team presented a wonderful campaign, as a sign of the great work of the technical and administrative staffs", Al Misehal said.
"SAFF will present all support for the national futsal team to make a successful participation in the championship which will be held in February", he added.
