The results of the 12th regular meeting of the SAFF

The Saudi Arabian Football Federation held its 12th regular meeting today, Thursday, August 18, and came out with the following results:

- Accepting Adwaa bint Abdul Rahman Al-Arefi’s apology for not continuing as a member of the Board, and appointing Lamia bint Ibrahim bin Bahian as a member and director of the Women’s Football Department, in accordance with Paragraph 11 of Article 33 of the Statute of the Federation, until the date of the Ordinary General Assembly to approve the appointment.

- SAFF extended its heartfelt thanks to Al-Arifi for the work she provided during the previous period, including the completion of the files related to the establishment of women's football.

- The board of directors of the SAFF has set next October 6 as the date for the convening of the Ordinary General Assembly in Jeddah.

- Approving an amount of 300,000 riyals in support of each club in the third division, presented in two installments.

- SAFF agreed to pay 50% of the amount of the professional subsidy to the clubs of the first and second divisions as an preceded payment.

- Continuing the initiative to support Prince Mohammed bin Salman League clubs for first-division clubs, and second-division clubs, to use lawyers specialized in sports law with regard to litigation before international sports bodies.

- Increasing the number of national coaches who benefited from support in the third and fourth division clubs from the first team to 4 coaches instead of one coach within the initiative to support and empower the national coaches, which was previously announced two seasons ago, with SAFF guaranteeing a monthly reward for the coach, provided that the coach fulfills the conditions and standards of work mechanisms for the 2021-2022 sports season.
