Al Misehal offers condolences on the death of former KSA player Khamis Al-Owairan

The president of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, SAFF, Yasser Al Misehal, expressed his sincere condolences and sympathy, for the family of former Saudi Arabia, Ittihad and Al-Hilal player, Khamis Al- Owairan, who passed away on Tuesday.
"On behalf of all SAFF members, I extend my condolences to the player’s family and sports community for the loss of a player represented a great example of salvation, dedication, discipline and technical and moral excellence, and contributed to a number of sports achievements for the national teams", Al Misehal said.
"May his soul rest in peace, and we wish solace for his kind family, and for the sports community, God we belong and to Him is our return", he concluded.
The SAFF received a telegram of condolences, on Tuesday from His Excellency, the president of the Asian Football Confederation, AFC, Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa.
"We received with great sadness and regret the news of the death of former Saudi international, Khamis Al-Owairan, one of the most distinguished players on the technical and moral levels, as we offer you and the family of the player, the warmest condolences and the most sincere sympathy, May his soul rest in peace", the AFC telegram said.
