
Al-Ula wins the Saudi Third Division League for 23-24 season

Turki Al-Sultan, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), crowned Al-Ula team with the shield of the Saudi League for third-tier clubs for the 2023-2024 season, on Saturday.
Al-Ula won the final match, which was held at Prince Bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Medina, after defeating Al-Anwar team on penalty kicks with a score of 8-7 after a 2-2 draw.
Al-Ula topped the third group while Al-Anwar topped the second group, qualifying for the semi-finals with Al-Ghouta, the leader of the first group, and Al-Sharq, the leader of the fourth group, before Al-Ula defeated Al-Sharq on penalties in the semi-final, which witnessed Al-Anwar defeating Al-Ghouta with 1-0.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Ula, Al-Anwar, Al-Ghouta and Al-Sharq clubs qualified for the Saudi League for the second division for the next season 2024-2025.
