
Launch of the cohabitation program in Spain

Today, June 24, the Cohabitation Program in Spain, which continues until July 3, 2024, was launched in the Spanish city of Salou, under the supervision of the technical director of the women’s national team, Luis Cortés, and his technical staff.
The program aims to raise the efficiency of female national coaches and players through living experience with international professionals under an intensive training schedule that includes practical and theoretical aspects.
13 female coaches with coaching licenses were selected through courses held by the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, along with 4 promising female players.
The participating list includes the assistant coach of the first women’s national team, Ohoud Al-Ammari, and the coaches of the regional training centers; Amira Al-Musfer, Nada Abdullah, Maryam Bahzad, Ohood Youssef, Hessa Al-Sudairi, RazanBoubasit, Jana Muhammad, Shouq Khaled, Ghada Saud, GhaidaSaeed, Al-Anoud Ali, Samar Al-Dosari, in addition to the female players; Layan Amir, Lulu Abdullah, Sulaf Ahmed, and Randa Al-Abdulqader.
The program includes several educational sessions in the field of football, such as strengthening exercises and injury prevention, training strategies for developing female players, modern innovations in women’s football training, in addition to sports psychology and women’s health, strategic plans for matches and how to implement them, in addition to technical analysis during Practices and matches.
Alia bint Abdulaziz Al-Rasheed, Director of the Women’s Football Department, also expressed her pride in all the coaches and players participating in this program, stressing that this opportunity reflects the SAFF’s commitment to developing the workforce and expressed her full confidence that the participants will contribute to the development of the women’s football system in Kingdom by acquiring the necessary knowledge and experiences through coexistence programmes.
