Press conferences for the first round of Group 1 of the AFC Women's Champions League qualifiers were held this evening, Saturday, as Riyadh hosts the group matches with the participation of the national representative, Al-Nassr, in addition to the teams of Abu Dhabi, UAE, Myawady from Laos, and Young Elephants from Myanmar.
The coach of the Abu Dhabi team, Sarah Hassanein, expressed her great happiness with her team's participation in the first edition of the tournament, wishing her team success in advancing to the group stage.
The player of the Abu Dhabi team, UAE, Rawan Al Hammadi, said that participating in the first edition of the AFC Women's Champions League represents a big dream, stressing that the ambitions are great to achieve the desired results.
In the press conference for the Young Elephants team, the team's coach, Phutpasong Singh, confirmed their readiness to compete, extending his thanks to the Saudi Arabian Football Federation for the warm reception.
For her part, Young Elephants player "Saki Ono" expressed her happiness with her team's participation in these qualifiers, indicating her and her fellow players' desire to show the best possible level during the qualifiers matches.
In the press conference preceding the match between the national representative Al-Nassr and the Myawady team, Al-Nassr coach "Sandro Mendes" confirmed his team's readiness for tomorrow's match, indicating that the goal is to overcome Myawady tomorrow and then think about the rest of the qualifiers.
For her part, Al-Nassr player "Kathleen Souza" expressed her happiness that this participation is her first match since joining Al-Nassr, stressing that the team has all the ambitions to achieve the desired goal.

It is worth noting that tomorrow will witness the start of the matches of the first group of the qualifiers for the AFC Women's Champions League, as the UAE's Abu Dhabi team will meet the Young Elephants team at the First Park Stadium at 5:30 pm, while the national representative, Al Nassr, will meet Myawaddy at the same stadium at 9:30 pm.
