
Al-Misehal receives FIFA's Head of Global Football Development, Frenchman Arsène Wenger

Yasser bin Hassan Al-Misehal, the President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), received FIFA's Head of Global Football Development, Frenchman Arsène Wenger, in his office at the SAFF’s headquarters in Riyadh.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Secretary-General of the Saudi Federation, Ibrahim Al-Qassim, and the Technical Director, Nasser Larguet, ways to enhance cooperation between the technical management of the Saudi Federation and the Football Development Department at FIFA were discussed, in a way that ensures the development of technical work in the Saudi Federation.
Frenchman Arsène Wenger also visited the headquarters of the technical management, accompanied by the Director of the Technical Department and a number of the staff, where he listened to an explanation of the strategy of the national teams, the technical management and the current work mechanism.
The meeting came as part of the Saudi Federation's efforts to enhance cooperation with FIFA, based on the global impact path, one of the pillars of the Saudi Football Transformation Strategy that was launched in September 2021.
