The KSA NT Resumes Training After Victory Over Kuwait in Gulf Cup Opener

The national team resumed training this Thursday evening in preparation for the match against Oman this coming Saturday, as part of the second round of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup group stage.
The players conducted their training session at the King Abdullah Sports City training grounds in Jeddah under the supervision of head coach Giorgos Donis, as the players were divided into two groups: the first consisted of players who started in yesterday's match against Kuwait and performed recovery exercises, while the second group underwent a session that began with a warm-up, followed by passing drills and small-sided games, before moving on to attacking tactical exercises.
In related news, player Mohammed Al-Qahtani did not participate in the training session due to abdominal pain, meanwhile, the medical staff is awaiting the results of medical tests undergone today by Nawaf Al-Aqidi following the injury he sustained during yesterday's match against Kuwait.
The Green Falcons will continue preparations tomorrow, Friday, with a training session at 7:00 PM at the King Abdullah Sports City training grounds in Jeddah; the session will be open to the media for the first 15 minutes.
