Al-Ittifaq win the Saudi Futsal Federation Cup 2022-2023

On Saturday, member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), Nazih Al-Nasr, crowned the Al-Ittifaq the Saudi Football Federation Cup champions for the 2022-2023 season in its fourth edition.
Al-Ettifaq won the title after defeating its counterpart, Riyadh, 5-4 in penalty kicks, after a 3-3 draw in the original and extra times in the final match that took place between them today in the Ministry of Sports hall in the city of Dammam.
Nawaf Al-Arwan scored two goals, while Nasser Al-Harithiadded another one for Al-Ittifaq, while Eduardo de Moura scored a hat-trick for Riyadh.
Al-Ettifaq qualified for the final match after defeating Al-Qadisiyah in the round of 16, then Al-Wadi in the quarter-finals, before beating Al-Sir in the semi-finals.
On the other hand, Riyadh qualified for the final match through a journey that began with a victory over Al-Thaqbah in the round of 16, then Radwa in the quarter-finals, before defeating Al-Ula in the semi-finals.
It is noteworthy that Al-Qadisiyah won the first edition title in the 2019-2020 season, while Al-Ittifaq was crowned the second edition title in the 2020-2021 season, and Al-Sir was crowned in the third edition title in the 2021-2022 season.
