The NT participates in the Gulf Cup for old players in Kuwait

The Saudi Arabia national team will take part in the Gulf Cup for Veterans, organized by the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation (AGCFF), during the period from 22 to 26 February in the State of Kuwait, with the participation of a group of former Gulf football stars.
The national team is holding its preparatory camp in the city of Jeddah, which started on Wednesday, February 12 and will continue until the 17th of the same month, where the Green Falcons is conducting its training on the reserve field in King Abdullah Sports City, with the participation of a group of players who represented a prominent generation in the history of Saudi football, born in 1985 or younger according to the competition system, led by Mansour Al-Najei, Mabrouk Zayed, Mohammed Khoja, Hamad Al-Muntashari, Naif Al-Qadi, Saleh Al-Saqri, Kamel Al-Musa, Abdullah Shahil, Mishaal Al-Saeed, Walid Abdul Rabbah, Abdo Hakmi, Ibrahim Mater, Manaf Abu Shaqir, Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani, Mohammed Amin, Abdulaziz Al-Janoubi, Marzouq Al-Otaibi, Nasser Al-Shamrani, Malik Muath, Abdullah Al-Shihan, and Issa Al-Muhaini.
The former international star Mohammed Abdul Jawad will technically supervise the leadership of the national team, along with his assistant Sami Al-Muhammadi, Hassan Majrashi (fitness coach), and Mansour Al-Qassim (goalkeeper coach), while Abdullah Al-Waked will assume the duties of the team manager, to lead the administrative aspects during the tournament.
The team will play its matches in Group Two, which includes the teams of Iraq, Bahrain, and Yemen.
The Green Falcons will begin their journey in the tournament by facing Bahrain on Saturday, February 22, then meet Yemen the following day, Sunday, February 23, before concluding the group stage with a match against Iraq on Monday, February 24. If they qualify for the semi-finals, they will play on Tuesday, February 25, while the final will be held on Wednesday, February 26.
The approval of this tournament comes from the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation in appreciation of the prominent role of the former stars, who contributed to the advancement of Gulf football.
