Regional Training Centers for Girls' Conclude Their Fifth Season

The Women’s Football Department of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation successfully concluded the fifth season of its Regional Training Centers for Girls, which ran from September 2025 to June 2026.
The training centers offered two main types of training environments: grass pitches and specialized indoor halls in both Riyadh and Mecca.
This provided a diverse and ideal environment for developing the players’ technical and physical skills.
This season, the centers welcomed over 400 new players, with a particular focus on the under-15 age group, as the aim was to build a strong foundation of emerging talent and establish a new generation of gifted players.
The season also saw the launch of the Under-11 and Under-13 age group leagues.
This important step aims to provide a regular competitive environment for young players and enhance their development from training to competition, contributing to the discovery and nurturing of talent at an early age.
More than 50 female coaches and administrators, along with six regional supervisors, oversaw the implementation of the training programs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in training, educational follow-up, and behavioral development.
The training programs cover age groups from 6 to 15 years old, focusing on technical, tactical, and physical aspects, while also promoting educational values and discipline. This is part of a strategic plan aimed at building a generation capable of competing both locally and internationally.
As part of its elite development program, the Saudi Arabian Football Federation continues to establish Elite Training Centers (ETCs) for the under-15 age group in three major cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, to provide advanced training programs for promising young players, preparing them for higher levels of competition and future representation of the national teams.
This program is a key initiative in the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's plan to develop women's football by providing specialized training environments designed to cultivate professional players and build a promising future for the sport.
The regional training centers for girls are scheduled to return for their sixth season in September 2026, to continue the journey of developing and empowering sports for girls in the Kingdom.
