Beach Soccer 1st Div. League first edition Kicks Off

The first edition of the Beach Soccer First Division League for the 2024-2025 sports season will kick off tomorrow, Friday.
The competition will be held at the Mahd Academy Beach Soccer Stadium in Riyadh from May 16 to 21, with the participation of eight teams.
The participating teams were divided into two groups, with four teams in each group, competing for two spots to advance to the Saudi Beach Soccer Premier League for the 2025-2026 sports season.
The first group includes Al-Thaqbah, Tuwaiq, Al-Yarmouk, and Al-Tadamon, while the second group includes Hittin, Qalwah, Al-Qurayyat, and Al-Tasamuh.
It is worth noting that the tournament's regulations stipulate that the champion and runner-up advance directly to the Premier Beach Soccer League for the next sports season, a move aimed at promoting the game and expanding its player base across the Kingdom.
The launch of the Beach Soccer 1st Div. is a key pillar in supporting national teams with distinguished players and promoting the game in the Kingdom.
This will contribute to the continued development of the national team, which has achieved a significant leap forward, reaching 19th place globally according to the latest monthly rankings.
